Whilst heading home from Sutton Veny (the location of my last post) I passed a scene of perfect English pastoral beauty; lush, rolling green pasture dotted with contentedly grazing cattle and fluffy white clouds hovering calmly in a pale blue sky. I stopped to take in the scene but such excitement (everything is relative!) piqued the interest of the herd and the leisurely amble of one or two soon developed into a full scale charge in my direction. They drew close then stopped, nudging each other forwards like awkward teenagers, wanting to investigate without getting too close. Fortuitously, the oldest and boldest was also the most photogenic (remember, everything is relative! ๐Ÿ™‚ )ย Square format, fine art B&W photo of Friesian cow's face with long eyelashes
